Feeding guide
Working dogs usually eat 2–3% of their body weight a day, in one or two meals. A 20kg dog on regular work needs about 500g a day — just over one 454g roll. Adjust for age, condition and workload.
Storage & handling
- Keep frozen until needed
- Defrost in the fridge, covered and away from human food
- Feed raw — never cook, as cooked bone can splinter
- Use promptly once defrosted and do not refreeze
- Wash hands, bowls and surfaces after handling
